ABOUT THE "WHAT EVERY SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER NEEDS TO KNOW" AUDIO CD WORKSHOP…

"An In-Depth Workshop on the Basics of Teaching in the Sunday School and Church"

The Pennsylvania State Sunday School Association began doing live presentations of the "What Every Sunday School Teacher Needs To Know" workshop in local churches in 1999. Then, a year later, the workshop was put into expanded book form. Since then, a number of changes have been made in the workshop and it has been updated to include even more information and many more ideas for all teachers in the church. But, in an effort to make the workshop even more accessible to even more teachers, the workshop is now being presented in this brand new audio CD format.

The workshop consists of 24 different parts or "lessons," each about 12 minutes in length, packaged on 4 audio CD discs. These 4 CDs contain all of the information that you would normally hear at one of our "in-depth," six-hour live presentations of the workshop. In fact, we’ve even added a lot of new material for the CDs. But, that’s not all. In addition, the workshop also includes a 74-page workbook of additional information, questions to think about, optional activities and more. If you only listed to the CDs, you will get the complete, basic workshop. But, if you want to learn even more, turn to the lesson workbook after you listed to the CD.

The "What Every Sunday School Teacher Needs To Know" workshop on audio CD is designed to be used by individual teachers. They can listen to the CDs as they work around the house, as the ride in their car, as they walk or jog, or just about anywhere.

The workshop is designed to provide help to all teachers in the church – those who teach Sunday school, those who lead small groups, those who teach Vacation Bible School, Junior Church, Kids’ Club, Youth Group and more. Everyone will benefit from the information, ideas, inspiration and resources contained in the workshop. And, whether the listener is a brand new teacher or has been teaching for many years, the workshop is sure to be of great value to everyone.
