About Our Affiliated County Organizations...

The basic purposes of the Pennsylvania State Sunday School Association is to promote Sunday school attendance and to help train Sunday school and Christian education teachers and leaders. The purposes of the Association are carried out in two ways - (1) directly to churches, Sunday schools and individual Christian education workers and (2) through affiliated County and District Sunday School Associations that currently exist in 24 of the Keystone State's 67 counties.

Each County or District Sunday School Association plans and carries out its own program of events and activities to help the churches, Sunday schools and Christian education teachers and leaders of their area. The programs and activities of the County and District Associations vary greatly. A listing of upcoming local S.S.A. events can be found in the "Upcoming County Events & Activities" section of our Web Page.
